A beer bottle thrown from the stands landed near Usain Bolt in the moments before the 100m final yesterday in London, England.
As Bolt and the seven other finalists got into their starting positions, a bottle sailed from the first row of the stands.
It harmlessly bounced in Yohan Blake's lane and didn't appear to cause a distraction to the runners, who started a split-second later.
Edith Bosch, a female Dutch judoka who won a bronze medal earlier during the Olympics, claimed the man who threw the bottle was sitting near her and that she "beat" him.
The thrower was reportedly arrested and taken into custody.
